2. By law, the agency licensee does not require formal qualifications, however in this case, a qualified travel agency manager must then be employed to run the business on a day to day basis.
3. Registering with the Travel Compensation Fund* is a mandatory requirement to obtain a license. (*except in the Northern Territory)
4. Once the licence is granted, you may then apply for AFTA membership. There are also a number of agency groups in the market you may wish to investigate further, membership of which can afford various benefits, depending on your needs.
