2011 Avis Travel Agent Scholarship of Excellence



The Avis Travel Agent Scholarship of Excellence celebrated its 15th year in 2011.

This award aims to recognise and reward superior customer service and has, over the years produced some outstanding winners. A full list of previous winners can be seen at the bottom of this page.

These people have not only claimed truly extraordinary prizes, but have grown both personally and professionally through the process of taking part in the Scholarship.

Claudia Silk from Travel Counsellors was named the Avis Travel Agent Scholarship of Excellence winner in 2011. This is the first time a mobile travel consultant has taken the prize in this prestigious award.

Avis Travel Industry Manager, Russell Butler said "Claudia is someone who truly believes that consumers do not shop on price alone, and that talented agents can sell on service and develop long-standing relationships with their clients."
