AFTA Colleges provide quality training with the emphasis on practical work skills thereby producing graduates of an exceptionally high calibre.
The Australia Tourism Training Review Panel (ATTRP) has accredited the ATEP course program and AFTA modules. Full time courses are AUSTUDY approved. The AFTA Travel & Tourism Colleges are designated Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with the national vocational educational authorities.

Applicants should have attained Year 11 (including English and Mathematics) or be of a mature age to ensure they are adequately prepared to complete the course.
To succeed in the travel and tourism industry you must be able to convey enthusiasm to your customers or clients and have a genuine desire to be of service. Attributes such as a friendly personality, articulate, good communication skills and being well groomed, are essential. To handle the business aspects of the job you must be well organised, accurate and meticulous with detail.

Course Attendance

The Full-Time Certificate III course is approximately 24 weeks in duration while the Part-Time Certificate III course runs for approximately 48 weeks.
