The AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people interested in serving as the Independent Chairperson to the ATAS Complaint Appeal Committee (ACAC).
The role of the ACAC is to review complaints appealed by a complainant or referred to it by the ATAS Compliance Manager pursuant to the ATAS Code of Conduct and the ACAC Terms of Reference.
Specific skills and experience in boards of this nature, consumer facing commerce, public administration or government service would be highly regarded.
The Independent Chairperson will be appointed for a term of three (3) years and is responsible for issuing determinations on the outcome of an appeal.
A meeting attendance based remuneration including travel and related expenses is provided with this appointment.
