Advising AFTA of Changes to your DetailsHave you updated your business details?

It is important to advise AFTA of any change in details to your business to ensure compliance with your obligations under the ATAS Charter.

The ATAS Charter states in s2.7: “Participants must notify the ATAS Compliance Manager of any change of detail within 7 days of the change occurring where the change may affect the participant’s accreditation”.

Changes that may affect a participant’s accreditation includes any change to the s.2.5 Eligibility Criteria of the ATAS Charter. This includes but is not limited to:

  • A change in Directors;
  • A Director, shareholder, senior manager or close associate that is charged or convicted of a criminal offence; 
  • The business undergoes an entity change (eg sole trader to partnership);
  • A new branch has been added to the business or one has closed;
  • The business has concerns regarding its ongoing solvency; or
  • A reduction below 30% of front-line travel selling staff with a Certificate III – Travel, or equivalent.

It is also important to advise us of any changes in your addresses or contact details so that we can contact you and issue you with correct details on your ATAS Certificate.
