New tourist attraction for adventure seekers with 200-metre high Sky Walk in Downtown Dubai.
The launch of an exhilarating tourist attraction that will especially appeal to adventure lovers with the new Sky Walk, a 200-metre high cantilever observation corridor in the Address Sky View development in Downtown Dubai. Sky Walk offers the unique experience of taking in spectacular views from a height of 200 metres as the visitors navigate the observation corridor in safety harnesses, walking literally 'outside the building’.
The views expand further afield to the upcoming new icon Dubai Creek Tower and of the Arabian Gulf. At level 53 of Address Sky View, and suspended at the imposing height of 200 metres, Sky Walk is another first-of-its-kind in Downtown Dubai.
Address Sky View, a residential and hospitality project, also features the iconic 85-metre-long Sky Bridge, at 220 metres high, featuring eight units of luxurious Sky Collection Duplexes, a 70-metre-long infinity pool and other amenities.
The 30-metre long cantilever Sky Walk, fixed to the structure of one of the two Address Sky View towers, is a half-oval structure offering 45 metres of walking distance. To ensure maximum comfort level of visitors, high-tech tuned damping parts are being fixed underneath the Sky Walk.

La Perle has now opened at Al Haboor City, an aqua-based spectacle La Perle will take place five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday), twice a day, all year long in Dubai, inside of a purpose-built venue in Al Habtoor City, starting 31 August.

Al Thuraya Astronomy Centre is complete and grand opening on National Day, December 2.
Dubai’s Dh50m astronomy observatory opened in September and a landmark astronomy resort in the Marmoun desert is planned for next year, as the city seeks to tap into an enduring fascination with the stars that draw in old and young alike.
The centre will be home to a telescope with a one metre diametre mirror. First announced two years ago, it will have an academy with classrooms and labs, an outside observation deck, a 100-seat theatre an astronomy shop, a cafe and an library. The 2,696 square building located in Al Mushrif Park will have landscaped gardens in the shapes of constellations.
The centre will be educate the public on the Mars 2117 Project, a national plan to build a city on Mars in one hundred years.
Thuraya will be a place where everyone to come and meet together. It’s going to have lots of places where people come and enjoy themselves and create a road map to Mars.
