A new 5-star boutique hotel and suites has opened at City Walk, with stylish interiors, spacious rooms and complimentary wifi. In addition to its 145 rooms and 11 suites, the new La Ville Hotel & Suites Dubai, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, also offers three restaurants, a lobby café, fitness centre and a rooftop bar and pool that overlooks Burj Khalifa and the city’s skyline, and is perfectly located for Dubai Canal and Dubai Mall as well as being on the doorstep of City Walk, the new outdoor retail and dining precinct located in Downtown Dubai.
The mid-range hotel brand Rove, has opened its third hotel in the city in Healthcare City, strategically positioned within a 10 minute drive of Dubai International Airport and in close proximity to Dubai Healthcare City and Dubai Metro.
Rove Healthcare City has standard features including free Wi-Fi access; late checkout; swimming pool, sundeck and 24-hour gym; 24-hour self-service laundromat and interconnecting rooms.
Dubai’s second St. Regis hotel opened this month in Dubailand. The new St Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is set around four polo fields and has 136 rooms and suites, 25 villas, six restaurants and a spa. Luxury hotel brand, Viceroy, opened its second hotel in the region last month. Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Hotel and Residences situated on The Palm, will comprise of 477 rooms and suites and 221 Viceroy Residences, as well as 10 restaurants, spa, beach, pool, a kids' only club and health and wellness areas.
A new must-do in Dubai for adrenaline-seekers, has launched through Sky Dive Dubai. The tandem SkyHub, by adrenaline-sports company, SkyDive Dubai, is a new and exciting way to see the city from above. Travellers can choose to fly and view Dubai Marina or the desert on a 25-minute flight.
Fridays in Dubai is ‘brunch’ day, with casual to fine-dining brunches on offer all over the city. The JW Marriott Marquis will host a new Bond-themed brunch at the Prime68 restaurant every Friday.
