Hotels, Attractions & Food – A new Dubai Every time

Last month we announced the launch of our Dubai Expert program for the industry, a new interactive tool to help agents learn what attractions are available for every type of travellers. But with new attractions opening all the time giving travellers ‘a new Dubai every time’, the program will be an ongoing educational tool for agents.

Here is a snapshot of the latest hotel and attractions that have recently launched in Dubai:


A new 5-star boutique hotel and suites has opened at City Walk, with stylish interiors, spacious rooms and complimentary wifi. In addition to its 145 rooms and 11 suites, the new La Ville Hotel & Suites Dubai, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, also offers three restaurants, a lobby café, fitness centre and a rooftop bar and pool that overlooks Burj Khalifa and the city’s skyline, and is perfectly located for Dubai Canal and Dubai Mall as well as being on the doorstep of City Walk, the new outdoor retail and dining precinct located in Downtown Dubai.

Affordable accommodation in Dubai, Rove City Centre
The mid-range hotel brand Rove, has opened its third hotel in the city in Healthcare City, strategically positioned within a 10 minute drive of Dubai International Airport and in close proximity to Dubai Healthcare City and Dubai Metro.

Rove Healthcare City has standard features including free Wi-Fi access; late checkout; swimming pool, sundeck and 24-hour gym; 24-hour self-service laundromat and interconnecting rooms.

All three Rove hotels are located in easy access to the public transport including the Dubai Metro, bus and tram stations. Other Rove properties include Rove Downtown and Rove City Centre.

New to Dubai - St Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & ClubDubai’s second St. Regis hotel opened this month in Dubailand. The new St Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is set around four polo fields and has 136 rooms and suites, 25 villas, six restaurants and a spa. The luxury hotel is located close to the intersection of Emirates Road and the Dubai-Al Ain Road, close to Academic City. For more information, visit

Luxury hotel brand, Viceroy, opened its second hotel in the region last month. Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Hotel and Residences situated on The Palm, will comprise of 477 rooms and suites and 221 Viceroy Residences, as well as 10 restaurants, spa, beach, pool, a kids' only club and health and wellness areas.


A new must-do in Dubai for adrenaline-seekers, has launched through Sky Dive Dubai. The tandem SkyHub, by adrenaline-sports company, SkyDive Dubai, is a new and exciting way to see the city from above. Travellers can choose to fly and view Dubai Marina or the desert on a 25-minute flight.

Foodie Fridays

Fridays in Dubai is ‘brunch’ day, with casual to fine-dining brunches on offer all over the city. The JW Marriott Marquis will host a new Bond-themed brunch at the Prime68 restaurant every Friday. The ‘068 Brunch’ will feature an à la carte menu with dishes ranging from foie gras to Australian beef tenderloin. It will boast entertainment in the form of live jazz music and a 068 photo booth.

Travellers looking to drive themselves over the sand dunes and seek an adrenaline rush, can now book a 2 hour self-drive dune buggy adventure with Arabian Adventures. Travellers will follow the guide in their own buggy across the Arabian sand dunes.

Dubai remains as exciting as ever, with more and more product and attractions opening, so for travellers it really can be a new Dubai each time they visit.
