Notice of Appointment of New Auditor

The Australian Federation of Travel Agents Ltd (AFTA) provides notice of appointment of a new auditor.

The outgoing auditor is DFK Laurence Varnay (ABN 26 190 558 867).

The incoming auditor is RSM Australia Partners (ABN 36 965 185 036).

The change of auditor has occurred as DFK Laurence Varnay has been in the position of auditor for AFTA for 10 years. As part of a corporate governance review undertaken by the Audit and Risk Committee, the AFTA Board decided to appoint a new auditor through a competitive tender process. This will ensure members continue to have confidence in the operations of AFTA
