[Wednesday 5 August 2020:] Australia’s travel agents welcome Virgin Australia Group’s announcement of their conditional credit policy which will see all credits and forward bookings honoured.
Virgin today advised the Australian Stock Exchange that customers will be provided with the value of travel credits post administration with validity dates extended for bookings made prior to administration.
Peak body the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) says travel agents have been working around the clock to help their customers manage the complexities of refunds and credits including Virgin Australia bookings.
AFTA welcomed Virgin’s commitment to supporting regional Australia.
