Tourism Minister the Hon Dan Tehan shares his vision for Travel

Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, the Hon Dan Tehan MP will share his vision for Australia’s Travel and Tourism industries as part of an Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) webinar this coming Friday.

Registration for the webinar which will run from 930 to 10am is via https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/1408375862087187468

Quotes attributed to AFTA CEO Dean Long:
“We are very grateful for the ongoing support of Minister Tehan throughout the challenges of COVID and in securing the $258 million in support for our sector via the COVID-19 Consumer Travel Support initiative.”

“The final two weeks of the Federal Election campaign is an especially busy time and we are very appreciate of Minister Tehan making time to talk with our members and sector. It’s an important reflection of the value the Federal Government places on Australia’s Travel sector.”

“A key and ongoing priority for AFTA is and will remain that all key political decision makers understand and value the economic contribution Australia’s travel businesses make and the role we play in supporting Australians as they travel across Australia and the world.”

“While it’s wonderful to see so many Australians booking travel again for leisure, cultural and business reasons, our sector has been the hardest hit and will take years to recover. We need ongoing government support as we rebuild.”
